Holidays in the South Tyrolean mountains
Walking holidays in Summerworld Ahrntal
With its many tributary valleys, Ahrntal is truly a walker’s paradise in the Alps. No fewer than 63 three-thousander mountains line the sides of Ahrn Valley in unique splendour.
The number of activities on offer during Ahrntal in the summer is huge: long walks in Riesenferner-Ahrn Nature Park; mountain climbing; hikes across the summits of more than 63 three-thousanders; or walks to any one of the numerous Alpine restaurants and lodges.
Look forward to an exciting walking holiday in your holiday haven, Hotel Martinshof in South Tyrol.
You’ll also find beautiful paths and Nordic Walking trails in Ahrntal during summer.
You can either begin your walk directly from Hotel Martinshof, or take your Holiday Pass to use public transport free of charge and explore some of the tributary valleys!
For a change, you could also try out one of the many other sporting activities on offer in the area – golf, cycling, mountain biking, rafting, canyoning, hang-gliding and paragliding, archery, horse riding, summer tobogganing, climbing...
There are many spectacular fixed-rope climbing routes in the nearby Dolomites.
Approx. 100 m away from Hotel Martinshof is the Ahrntal Tennis Club with two recently renewed artificial turf courts which you can use for a small fee.
Besides the forests, meadows and mountains, a wide range of cultural highlights await discovery in Ahrntal during the summer months: old-fashioned crafts, Taufers Castle in Sand in Taufers, and various museums such as the South Tyrolean Folk Museum or Messner Mountain Museum on the summit of Kronplatz Mountain.
We’ll be delighted to help you plan an action-packed holiday here in Hotel Martinshof.
