The two snow-sure ski areas, the Speikboden and the Klausberg, are located only 3 km away from the hotel Martinshof. Both invite beginners and experts with well prepared slopes and ski-runs.

Ski schools, ski kindergardens for your little ones and a free ski coach shuttle-service (ski bus stop 200 m away from the hotel Martinshof) are also included. Furthermore, you can travel on the sophisticated cross-country skiing trails from our house right into the pristine natural landscape of the Ahrntal. Other well tended cross-country trails are located in Weißenbach (approx. 4 km away), Rein in Taufers (approx. 15 km away) and Kasern (approx. 20 km away).

Toboggan runs are found in Weißenbach (Innerhofer Alm, Marxegger Alm) as well at the Kottenstegerhof (lighted toboggan run) in Saint Johann and the Schwarzbachalm (lighted toboggan run) in Luttach.

Skating (approx. 300 m aw), torch skiing, horse sleigh rides, curling, as well as extensive, unforgettable hikes in the snow offer variety.

The Ahrntal is also a charming vacation destination in winter!
